Archangels
Archangels are the managers of our guardian angels – see guardian angels. We can call upon them for additional help in our life. They work with our guardian angels to ensure that we are living a life of purpose. Each one has a specific role and talent in an area, so we call upon the archangel linked to whatever issue we may be going through.
There are many different archangels found in many religions.
There are seven archangels mentioned in the Christian Bible while the Islamic religion talks about the four main ones being the “Four Angels of the Presence”.
The four archangels common to both religions are Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel.
Each of these archangels represent different star signs:
Michael – Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Gabriel – Water: Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer
Raphael – Air: Aquarius, Libra, Gemini
Uriel – Earth: Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo
Archangel Michael:
- Is the angel of courage, strength and protection
- When you call on him he will stand on your right-hand side with his sword and shield ready to protect you
- He also aids with initiative, willpower and motivation
- He is in charge of the angels of protection
- He cuts the chords of negative thoughts and beliefs, so that we can move forward. We have to ask him to do this though.
- He also cuts the psychic chords that bind us to people and objects
- These chords must be cut or they pull you down to the lower dimensions.
Chakra: Throat
Star Signs: Fire – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Archangel Gabriel:
- Is the angel in charge of harmony, beauty and art
- Helps us in maintaining balance, hope, spirituality, clarity and discipline
- He sits on the left-hand side of God and is the second most important angel
- Is said to be the most beautiful of all the angels
- Is in charge of the Angels of Guidance
- Helps us work with our guardian angels to find and achieve our life purpose
- You can call on this angel to clear away opposition in your way of achieving your goal
- It was Gabriel who told Mother Mary she was going to have Jesus in Christianity and appeared to Mohammed which inspired the Islamic religion
- Is also the angel of childbirth, so if you have any concerns with regard to pregnancies etc you can call on this angel
Chakra: Base
Signs: Water – Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer
Archangel Raphael:
- Is the third most important archangel
- His name means “shining one who heals”. He is therefore known as the healing angel
- He is the patron saint of the blind
- He is the angel of intuition as well, so you can call upon him to increase your clairvoyant and psychic powers
- He is also the angel of abundance, so you can ask him about any financial matters or worries you may have
Chakra: Third Eye
Signs: Air – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Archangel Uriel:
- Is the last of the Four Angels of the Presence
- His name means “Fire of God” because deals with repentance and meets the souls of sinners when they arrive in Heaven
- Is the Angel of Music
- Is said to be the angel that warned Noah of the impending flood
- Is believed to have given Kabbalah to the Jews
- He commands the Angels of Peace
- Is called upon by people in business for he helps with the achieving of people’s goals
- Is the Angel of Writing
Chakra: Base and Solar Plexus
Signs: Earth – Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Archangel Jophiel:
- Is the angel of wisdom and illumination
- Helps people remain faithful to their partner or faith or cause
- Helps people who are in position of power e.g. teachers, politicians, managers etc.
Chakra: Crown
Archangel Chamuel:
- Is the angel of love
- Helps people work with their hearts especially those in the creative fields.
- Heals and maintains love in all its forms including love relationships, friendships and family connections.
- Is the angel to call on for help with a relationship or break up
- Works very closely with the Romance Angels who are the angels in charge of finding our soul mates
Chakra: Heart Chakra
Archangel Metatron:
- Is the most important angel in the Kabbalah religion
- His name means “closest to the throne”
- Is the strongest and most imposing of all the angels
- Is the only human to have become an angel. Was the man Enoch featured in the Christian Bible, and when he died God turned him into an angel and renamed him Metatron
Other Archangels:
There are many different archangels around us that we can call upon for assistance. These include:
- Mother Mary – It is believed that the mother of Jesus is now an angel, and she is now known as the Queen of the Angels.
- Archangel Zadkiel – Is known as the Angel of Freedom
- Archangel Sariel – Angel of Discipline
- Archangel Remiel – Angel of Hope
- Archangel Ariel – Aids in money and financial matters
- Archangel Azrael – Angel of Death and Bereavement
- Archangel Jeremiel – Aids in helping us review our lives
- The Romance Angels – Popularly featured in our culture as the Cupid-like angels who bring lovers together
