If one was to look in a dictionary the definition of an angel would be “a spiritual being that attends to God”. They are also described as the messengers or “postal carriers” of God.

In a recent survey in America nearly 8O% of the population were found to believe in the existence of angels. However a very small majority of these people know very much about what angels actually are.

What are Angels?

Angels are divine celestial beings given to us by God or source energy to help, guide, protect and support us. They ensure that we are living up to our highest potential. They also help us to achieve our life purpose, so that we are doing what we are meant to be doing in this life. 

Angels have featured in many different religions including  Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Buddhists and Hindus also believe in the existence of angels, but refer to them as devas. Although prevalent in many beliefs, angels do not favour any one religion over another. In fact angels help everyone including people who are religious or spiritual, as well as Atheists and Agnostics. No matter what your beliefs you can connect with the angels.

As angels are selfless and beyond sexuality they do not have genders i.e. male or female. They may appear as one specific gender to us, so that we can feel more comfortable relating to them.

Angels are non-judgemental. They are formed in God’s image and always have your best interests at heart. The more we work with and connect to the angels the closer we are to the divine connection.

Can the angels help us?

The angels can help us with anything we need. We can call upon them anytime. No problem is too big or small for them. They can assist with your finances, relationships, career, family, friends – anything really!

Every living creature in the world has at least one guardian angel – see guardian angels. They are with you for your entire life and their only job is to help, guide and support you.

Angels are celestial beings who have never lived on Earth before, but very often they do take human form and are known as incarnated angels. This is either temporarily or for a lifetime to help out in direct contact. More then likely you have met an incarnated angel in your life before. It even says in the Bible: “be careful when entertaining for it might be an angel in disguise”.

There are thousands upon thousands of angels who have speficic roles and specialties. For instance there are angels of finance and abundance, ones concerned with healing, moving, nature, family, friends, protection, transport etc. These angels can be called upon if you need help with a specific problem. There are even parking angels who you can call on if you want to get a good park when you go shopping!

Above the angels are the Archangels see archangels. They are the managers of the guardian angels. These include the very famous Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel.

Why talk to Angels and not to God?

In the religions and in historical texts God continuously sent messages through his angels. For instance in Christianity angels appeared to Mother Mary to say that she was going to give birth to Jesus, and to Mary Magdalene to tell her that Jesus had risen from the dead. In Islam Gabriel appeared to Muhammed which gave birth to the Muslim religion.

When we communicate to the angels we are basically talking to God anyway, but as he has created these divine selfless beings to help us, allow them to do their job.

We could go around aimlessly in life waiting for something to happen or we could work with the servants of the creator of the universe and serve the purpose we were put on this earth to achieve. With our angels’ help we can achieve anything.

Are the angels linked to the events of 2012?

It is believed that there are more angels on Earth now then ever before to facilitate the changes the planet will be experiencing in the events leading up to the spiritual change of 2012. It is believed that the more spiritual fourth-dimensional people of this world will be able to see and commune with the angels directly after the spiritual change of 2012.

Are all angels good?

No there are dark and fallen angels as well – they are necessary for the balance of the earth for if there was no evil there would be no good, no ying no yang. The dark angels’ role in our lives is to tempt us to see how strong we are as people.

They, unlike the angels of light, do have free will for which they use to tempt us. When we live in fear and negativity we attract these dark energies to us for our thoughts are of the lower realm at that time. If we are confident, in control, balanced and in tune with God no dark can overcome us.

Angels of darkness are tempting our world all the time so be very careful whose advice you are taking…

But if we work in tune with our guardian angels, archangels, and use our intuition and psychic abilities, we will live a life of purpose and we will be safe, secure and rich in the glory of God.
